Many Elementary schools introduce a band instrument at Grade 4. The clarinet is a very introductory woodwind instrument for many students. Students who have been playing piano often times choose the Clarinet as their secondary instrument. Students can go on to play in the Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, etc in Highschool.
