Private lessons are one-on-one lessons, tailored to the student’s needs, learning style, and personality. We match the student with the teacher we feel would be the best fit. Curriculum is also determined according to the student’s level and learning track. Students will have the opportunity to perform throughout the year at recitals, competitions, masterclasses, and group collaboration events. Previous venues include Carnegie Hall, Bob Cole Conservatory, Armstrong Theater, Warner Grand and Loyola Marymount University. The Torrance Arts Academy implements the Musical Ladder System for communication between parents, teachers and the academy. We set goals for each student and they have an opportunity to work, reach their goals, and move up on our Ladder System!
